Watch this video to understand the lesson
This lesson is a transition lesson that links the work you did when designing to the next phase of work which is making a model. Making a good model of your idea requires careful planning and that is what today's lesson is all about. You must make decisions about how you are going to model and then prepare to make a start on making your model next week.
In your google slides Architecture presentation you should add in at least 2 new slides.
Slide 1: On the first new slide you should identify how you intend to make a model of your architecture design idea. Show a descriptive image of your chosen media and explain why you have chosen that method of modeling. On the same slide you should list any resources you will need to collect, materials or tools you need to source and the quantity of those materials.
Slide 2: On the second new slide you should make a manufacture plan page to guide you when making. You can think of this as being like a recipe that will allow you to plan the stages of manufacture of your model as you build it. Look at the lesson video and the examples below to help you.
You must add these slides to your Architecture presentation and then attach it to this weeks assignment on google classroom.
This is Kevin from form 7Ms slide.
He clearly identifies the method of modeling that he intends to use by writing about it and includes an image. He has written an explanation of why he has chosen this method. There is a link for further information.
This is a Daniel from 7Ms slide.
He has outlined a set of instructions in order to build his design. The steps are separated into bullet points so that they are easier to follow.
