During the torch project you will learn how to design around a stringent set of design restrictions to produce a creative hand held torch. There is a strong focus on design sketching skills in the early part of the project to support you in being able to design effective solutions.

Crating – A lightly sketched shape (usually a rectangle with at least 1 centre line) to aid sketching
Annotation – Describing and explaining something that you are analysing
Isometric – An angled drawing, diagonal lines at 30 and 60 degrees, to aid communication in 3D
Perspective Drawing – A 3 Dimensional drawing with lines that join to a Vanishing Point
