You have a choice of the type of clock motor you can use. There is a standard motor with a long spindle, a High Torque motor for very large clock designs with large hands, a clock motor with a pendulum or a digital clock display.
Shown below are two views of the standard clock motor. Your teacher will also show you one of these which will give you an idea of the size of the motor. Ideally you want to hide the motor from view.Â
In the space below explain which clock motor you plan to use and why. You can include drawings of your chosen motor and accurate sizes. This level of detail is essential to ensure your clock design will work as you intend it to.
