Watch this video to understand the lesson 1 task
Begin a google slides presentation about architecture, add a title slide, research slide and an inspirations slide.
To help you research, you can use a google search engine to ask questions such as:
‘what is architecture…?’ ‘how has architecture changed over time…?’ ‘What are iconic buildings of the world….?’ ‘what are the different styles of architecture…?
You can ask any of your own questions as well!
Present your findings in your google slides presentation showing photographs as well as using text boxes to write your own opinions about what you have discovered about architecture and the practice of designing buildings and environments.
You should then investigate and discover some photos of examples of architecture that inspire you and show them on slide 3 in your presentation.
An excellent example slide show would include:
A title slide
A research slide, presenting all that you have learned about architecture including images and written work in your own words that describes your findings.
A page of images of the types of architecture that you find inspiring and written text that explains exactly why each image that you include is inspiring to you.
I look forward to seeing your research and reading about what parts of the built environment (architecture) inspire you and why.
Make a title slide with a project title and your name
Do some research. There are some starting question above to help you get going. Write your findings in your own words on slide 2
Include photos and labels that explain why you are inspired by the examples you have shown.
Here is Mrs Douglas's slides example to help you.
