The lizard that was in the cereal was going towards Mr. Pendanski, he steamed and Mr.Sir shot it in the air. Everyone (Warden,Mr.Pedanski and Mr.Sir) were surprised that Zero and Stanley survived or were even still alive after they ran away for over 1 week. The Warden said the AFR woman will investigate and they would say Stanley ran away in the evening looking for Zero and fell in a hole filled with yellow spotted lizards. Stanley wasn’t listening to half the things the Warden was saying instead he was terrified to die and thought about the time when he and his mom fell on ice and rolled down the hill. He was scared to die without seeing his mom. Mr. Sir whispered to Stanley’s ear and told him that his lawyer came to pick him up yesterday but he wasn’t there. Stanley didn’t believe him because he knew his parents weren't able to afford a lawyer. The Warden told the colours to go and give the campers breakfast and they mustn’t speak, if they don’t then they don’t have to dig holes and if they do, they will be punished badly. The Warden didn't care if they dug or didn’t dig holes because she got what she was looking for (Kate’s suitcase).
