Chapter 19

Stanley woke up one night hearing Squid crying, the next morning he checked on Squid and he told Stanley to go away. Later on when the truck had left after filling up the canteens, Magnet asked everyone who wanted sunflower seeds as he had stolen them from Mr sir. They all started tossing the sack around so they could eat them, when Zigzag tossed the sack to Caveman, all the seeds fell out on the dirt and into his hole. Stanley tried to pick up the seeds but Mr Sir was already coming back. He tried to bury the seeds with the dirt but he had no time to cover them. When Mr sir arrived he started to check everyone's holes. He then approached Stanley’s and he noticed that two shells were sticking out so he asked Stanley to dig them out. He noticed it was his sack of sunflower seeds and questioned Stanley. Stanley admitted he stole it from Mr Sir’s truck even though he knew it was Magnet. Stanley claimed he ate all the sunflower seeds and didn't share. Mr Sir took Stanley straight to the Warden. It felt good for him to sit in the truck as he was out of the sun.
