Chapter 11

Names: Molly Ellard, Maya Hopkinson, Ife Mbamalu

Stanley returned to his hole frustratedly and then began digging. X-ray came by and examined what Stanley was doing. X-ray told Stanley that if anything was found, he was to give it to him immediately. Stanley was very confused and seeing that X-ray was the leader of the group, he didn't want to get on his nasty side. X-ray mentioned that Stanley had been at camp for a few days but he’d been at camp for over a year and since then he’d never found anything due to his poor eyesight. That's how he got his nickname. It was far better for Stanley knowing that he was on his good side than getting one day off. Stanley then realised that his new nickname was ‘Caveman’ because he was the biggest boy there. He was glad knowing that meant he was accepted into the group. When he was digging later that day he was imagining the boys at Camp Green Lake defending him against Derrick Dunne.
