Dear Summerside Families,
How did we already get to the end of the school year together?!! Time truly does fly by when having fun, learning, leading, and succeeding together!! As we wrap up our school year together, we hope all take time to reflect on the successes of the school year as parents, for our students, and for our school community. We have truly so much to be proud of together!
One example of that pride comes in cheering on our West Clermont Graduating Class of 2023! Seniors walked our halls on Tuesday morning to share their success, remember the foundation that was started in their elementary years, and showed our students what future ready looks and sounds like! We are so proud of our graduating seniors and wish them all the very best in their career and college paths ahead!
Another example from this past week was when our fifth-graders traveled to the WC Middle School to take a tour of their new school as well as when our some of our fifth-grade student ambassadors and morning announcement crew served as leaders and tour guides for guests we had joining Superintendent, Mrs. Adams, and Treasurer, Mr. Romano at Summerside. They shared insight into our overall program and beamed with pride when talking about our incredible school and district!
Every day, we have so many big and small moments to celebrate and recognize growth! As we wrap up our state testing season and district benchmark assessments, look for parent reports to come home this coming week to see direct results of your student's academic growth and progress this year. Your child's report card is another source of insight which will be released in PowerSchool on May 31st to view and print for summer/fall sports if needed. See below for guidance if needed.
Yearbooks will also be coming home if you ordered one this year - another way to mark how much your child has changed this year :). We will have a limited amount on hand to purchase if you did not order one. Please reach out to Mrs. Fields, fields_karen@my.westcler.org, in our front office if you would like to purchase one.
We will wrap up our year together, celebrating and having fun as classroom communities during Field Day, Wednesday, May 24 (wear Turkey Trots T-Shirts), and our last day celebrations for our kindergartners and fifth graders on Thursday, May 25. It's going to be a great week, celebrating an OUTSTANDING year together!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Courtney & Ms. Lowe

We are making plans for 4th grade Chromebook turn-in beginning Monday, May 22. They will receive a new school-issued device in the fall of 5th grade. All fourth-grade students need to turn in their school-issued Chromebook and charger prior to the last day of school.
To promote healthy habits and assist in the reduction of screen time during the break, West Clermont will limit elementary and middle school access to Chromebooks to 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Students will not be able to log in to their device or their district Google account from 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Please know that district internet filters and monitoring remain in effect 24x7x365 days a year.
If you have questions about a district-issued Chromebook or other technology-related concerns, please call 513-943-5095 or email ey_a@my.westcler.org.
We highly suggest parents/caregivers review information about student access to digital content from the following websites:
