Our FOURTH Annual #LoveWC Week is coming February 21st-24th and we want YOU to be a part of it again!
This year's theme is "West Clermont: An Epic Journey Awaits" and you'll find all of details on the #LoveWC section of the WolfPack Hub here: https://bit.ly/LoveWC23.
Submit shout-outs to West Clermont staff, community members, alumni, and local businesses or organizations!
Give back to our local community through our district-wide "Pack the Pantry" food drive
Show your WC spirit by dressing up for our district-wide Spirit Week!
Share some WC love on social media using the hashtag #LoveWC.
Display the #LoveWC image somewhere visible outside—on your house/building, a sidewalk, a vehicle, well, really anywhere! The more creative, the better! To get you started, here's a DIY coloring page and a letter-sized poster that can be printed.
Encourage a local business to also show their support by displaying a #LoveWC poster!
In addition, Superintendent Adams will be giving a virtual State of the Schools presentation during the West Clermont Board of Education meeting on Monday, February 27, 2023. Be sure to watch the meeting live on YouTube at 7 PM: https://youtu.be/Z8JCJroUaVs
We hope that you'll join us for #LoveWC Week 2023!
Grade-level newsletters will be updated every two weeks.
Our Discover team newsletter will be updated quarterly.
JUST UPDATED, 1/13/23!
Valentine's Day
Many parents have asked about Valentine's Day. Your child's teacher will communicate their plans and expectations for celebrating Valentine's Day in their classrooms as we have in years past. A reminder, we cannot allow food to be brought in to be distributed to our students at any time as noted in our WC Student/Parent handbook on page 24 without prior approval. However, we know that Valentines sometimes includes a small, wrapped sucker or box of candy hearts which will be sent home for parents to decide if they wish for their child to eat or not.
School Fees and Lunch Money
If you are experiencing problems with Autopay on the PaySchools App, you will need to contact the Support line through PaySchools at 1-877-393-6628. Child Nutrition does not have access to PaySchools in order to answer your questions. PaySchools is aware that there have been issues in regards to payments posting and balance discrepancies on student lunch accounts. For updated balances, Child Nutrition suggests registering for a free Titan Account. The link to do so is family.titank12.com.
Dear Parents\Guardians:
Head lice is a common occurrence in school. During the winter months when students wear coats, hats, etc., it is not unlikely to see an increase in the number of cases.
Head lice do not carry disease, nor does their presence indicate that a child is unsanitary. Head lice are transmitted from one head to another directly or possibly indirectly through such items as brushes, hats, headphones, etc. Lice do not fly or jump.
The most common signs of head lice is itching and scratching of the scalp. If your child complains of this, please examine their hair. If you see any visible signs of head lice or nits it is important to treat your child. Your pediatrician can prescribe treatment, however numerous over the counter products are available at drug stores and supermarkets.
Please contact your school Health Assistant with any questions or concerns.

Our Core Values: Together We are, ON THE RISE. R-Relationship, I-Innovation, S-Student Centered, E-Empowerment
We are creating a courageous culture by focusing on our mission of committing to excellence with every learner, every day, every way. We strive to have a safe, caring, positive learning environment where all students have a sense of belonging.
Recently, West Clermont released the Talking to Your Kids About School Safety and Wellbeing Discussion Guide as part of Volume 2 of the WC Roadmap Report. We recognize that school safety may be a tough topic to discuss at home so we developed the guide to help with the conversation with the support of the West Clermont Citizens Advisory Commission (CAC). The easy to use resource has two parts that consist of a Discussion Guide and an in depth survey. We urge you to take some time to have these important conversations with your kids.
We are listening to our students, families and community members and creating a path forward together to ensure all students are future-ready with a competitive advantage. Please attend one of our upcoming Town Hall Meetings.
We have made all feedback or suggestions from our community from our town halls—as well as the YouTube Live recordings of all of our public town hall events—available to the public on a special section of our WolfPack Hub, which can be accessed by clicking here or visiting westcler.org/hub and then clicking on the "Town Halls" button.
Our next public Town Halls are scheduled for:
February 23rd, 2023 at West Clermont Middle School (1341 Clough Pike)
March 23, 2023 at Summerside Elementary (4639 Vermona Drive)
