Dear Summerside Families,
Thank you for sharing the #LOVEWC this past week, celebrating our district and all we are accomplishing together to support our students in reaching their potential, tapping into their passions, and building the future they want for themselves! See below for pictures of some of our celebrations and fun together as many Summerside Eagles got creative for the spirit days. You can also share in the LOVE by voting on your favorite door decorated to celebrate this year's #LOVEWC theme "An Epic Journey Awaits," by clicking into Summerside's #LoveWC Door Decorating Contest Survey These are just a few of the creative doors that our staff and students designed to show and share their love of our incredible school and district being on the RISE together!
We encourage ALL to join Superintendent Adams and Treasurer Romano as they give their virtual State of the Schools presentation during the West Clermont Board of Education meeting this coming Monday, February 27, 2023, at 7 PM. You can watch the address live on YouTube or on the State of the Schools section of our website.
Here's to continuing to do great things together!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Courtney & Ms. Lowe

#LoveWC Week
We honored one of our many volunteers at Summerside, Mr. Tanner Dalton, during our district's annual Partners In Education celebration on Friday afternoon. Mr. Dalton represents Glen Este Church of Christ, providing weekly weekend food bags for our students as part of their "Project Lunch Box," and for their role in supporting families in big and small ways throughout the year.
We were also fortunate to have our PTO President, Mrs. Amber Shebesta, and a Summerside representative, Ms. Barb Gartner, in attendance at this growing, impressive event to celebrate and continue to build our partnerships in education throughout our district!

West Clermont families and staff,
Last night, we hosted our first town hall of 2023 at West Clermont Middle School—and it was a huge success! In addition to numerous staff and many students that joined us, we also had 84 guests participate.
As you know, we began our community engagement process back in the spring of 2022 and have now hosted half a dozen town halls that were focused on listening to the community. We have worked hard to ensure that every student, staff member, family, partner, and resident has had—and will continue to have—the opportunity to participate, suggest, review, comment, and act upon data. You can explore all of our Town Hall artifacts at westcler.org/townhalls.
We have now shifted into a new phase of our town hall process where we explore the 'Journey of a Wolf' and what it takes for a West Clermont student to be future-ready. We have only 2 town halls left this school year, and we hope that you'll join us! The dates and locations for those are:
Summerside Elementary (4639 Vermona Drive)
Amelia Elementary (5 East Main Street)
If you did not have a chance to attend, we still want your feedback using our Ensuring a Successful Journey Card. This form will give you the opportunity to provide your ideas and to also indicate if there's an area you'd like to become involved with in West Clermont.
Your feedback is critical to the future of our district. Our event last night was just the beginning of our 2023 engagement with the community.
I will also be giving a virtual State of the Schools presentation during the West Clermont Board of Education meeting this coming Monday evening (February 27th). Be sure to watch the meeting live on YouTube at 7 PM.
As always, thank you for your commitment and passion to our district!
Sincerely,
Natasha L. Adams
CEO and Superintendent
West Clermont Schools
Recently, West Clermont released the Talking to Your Kids About School Safety and Wellbeing Discussion Guide as part of Volume 2 of the WC Roadmap Report. We recognize that school safety may be a tough topic to discuss at home so we developed the guide to help with the conversation with the support of the West Clermont Citizens Advisory Commission (CAC). The easy to use resource has two parts that consist of a Discussion Guide and an in depth survey. We urge you to take some time to have these important conversations with your kids.
We are listening to our students, families and community members and creating a path forward together to ensure all students are future-ready with a competitive advantage. Please attend one of our upcoming Town Hall Meetings.
We have made all feedback or suggestions from our community from our town halls—as well as the YouTube Live recordings of all of our public town hall events—available to the public on a special section of our WolfPack Hub, which can be accessed by clicking here or visiting westcler.org/hub and then clicking on the "Town Halls" button.
Our next public Town Halls are scheduled for:
March 23, 2023 at Summerside Elementary (4639 Vermona Drive)
April 27, 2023 at Amelia Elementary (5 East Main Street)
