Join us for the 41st Harry M. Sparks Distinguished Lecture Series as we welcome Dr. Kerry Magro.
Dr. Magro is a autistic professional speaker, author and consultant to Netflix Love on the Spectrum U.S.
On April 21 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., the Criminal Justice Program and the Criminal Justice Society will host Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Shea Nickell as a special guest speaker. The event will take place in the main auditorium of Alexander Hall.
Justice Nickell’s presentation, “Eternal Vigilance: Courts, Law, and Lawyers in Our Commonwealth,” will provide a broad overview of Kentucky’s four-tier court system, explain how decisions are made at the state’s highest court, and offer insight into his judicial philosophy. He will also discuss current challenges to the rule of law and judicial independence, while sharing advice for students considering law school or careers in the legal profession.
A brief Q&A session will follow the presentation.
MSU FCCLA will offer another cookie decorating class on Monday, April 27th from 5:30-7:30 PM. Please come and design a bouquet of flowers for your mom, wife, sister, friend or yourself.

Cultural Leadership Academy: Dr. Landon Clark and Dr. Teresa Clark will lead the closing modules of this semester's Cultural Leadership Academy (CLA) April 20-21 at the MSU Paducah Regional Campus.
Law enforcement professionals from the Paducah Police Department will receive CLA Certificates in the culminating 11th Annual Certificate Ceremony.

Elementary Education majors hosted a parent panel last Thursday, engaging in meaningful discussions about parent–teacher relationships and the importance of strong home–school connections. Our ELE 481 students thoroughly enjoyed listening to the perspectives of parents!

Elementary Education's Practicum II students designed and facilitated STEM centers on Tuesday and Thursday of last week's Racer Adventure Spring Break Camp here on campus.
Children from Murray State's own faculty joined them for lessons on Physics, Earth, and Space Sciences.
