Murray State FCS majors attended the KY FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Louisville March 24th-27th. Students took part in a variety of competitions and leadership activities. Five students competed in 3 STAR Event categories and all earned gold medals.
Lacie Laws won a seat on the State Executive Council serving as the first post-secondary officer in the history of the organization. She will serve as Parliamentarian for the 2026-2027 school year. Other students judged competitive events. We had a recruitment booth at the conference and made valuable connections with several students interested in the field.
We had 2 students pledged MSU in the Say Yes to FCS signing ceremony.
