MESSAGES & DEPARTMENT UPDATES

Upcoming Events

This is a Try-A-Byte.

It's a pop-quest for the EdTech Explorer program worth 20 points for the month of January, & 15 points afterwards. This pop-up quest takes 10 minutes or less to complete and adds great Google knowledge for a better workflow. Faculty & Staff can use this for office hour scheduling or if people need to meet one-on-one with them.

They can access the links shown at the bottom of the picture via the PDF Copy Link or by the EdTech Explorer Website

The Bias Inside Us Educator Toolkit is a resource to assist in unpacking & demystifying the concept of bias. It includes a set of ten posters that help guide students through discussions about the meaning & real-world impact of implicit bias. Developed with advisor Dr. Tessa Charlesworth, a psychologist & postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University, the toolkit is based in scientific research on bias. It offers an educator’s guide that provides additional context around bias, starter questions, links to activities, & articles expanding on the research of bias.
