CLASSROOM UPDATES
Early Childhood students in ELE 308 are finishing their semester with math and science content paired with children's literature.
Students designed standards- based learning centers that promote opportunities for young learners to explore and demonstrate understanding of math and science skills including one-to-one correspondence, data collection, geometry, weather and climate, and other early childhood STEM concepts.
At the end of the course, students will share lesson seeds with colleagues to create a resource for future STEM learning in their classrooms.
On Thursday, April 23, students in Selise Ridolfi’s SED 310 course brought evidence-based practices for supporting students with autism to life through interactive presentations.
Each student showcased hands-on activities and practical strategies, inviting their peers to actively engage, practice, and experience the approaches firsthand—turning research into real-world application.
