Cultural Leadership Academy
Cultural Leadership Academy (CLA): Dr. Teresa Clark and Dr. Landon Clark will meet with members of the Paducah Police Department for their fall CLA modules, September 3-6 at the Paducah Regional Campus. These sessions will wrap up this cohort's instruction for the year, and culminate in the 9th Annual CLA Certificate Ceremony on September 6.

The Association of Literacy Educators and Researchers (ALER) has assigned Dr. Chhanda Islam to co-chair its Research Committee along with Dr. Margaret Vaughn. The award winners and Co-Chairs will be recognized for their contributions through social media this year and then in person at the ALER Annual Conference in 2024 in Orlando, Florida.

Congratulations to Dr. Bourke on the publication of his book Integrating Social Justice into Student Affairs! It came out in late May and is published by Routledge.

"A huge shout-out to Dr. Jamie Mahoney of the Special Education Department for her incredible efforts to foster a positive and joyful workplace! Dr. Mahoney's creative idea of starting a scavenger hunt for little "critters" around the COEHS building has brought a renewed sense of playful camaraderie among everyone who participates. Her relentless dedication to making our workplace happier and more connected is truly inspiring. Thank you, Dr. Mahoney, for bringing so much joy and fun into our daily routine!"
