Join us on Thursday, October 24 in the Multipurpose Room with special guest, Dr. Renee Fister, associate provost.
Dr. Fister will share information regarding student credit hours taught, summer school in the summer of 2025, and the academic program proposal.
The coffee hour will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Feel free to come and go as your schedule allows.
The Dean's Office is working on curating a series of student testimonials to use for promotional use.

8 awesome Middle School Education students began their practicum at Trigg County Middle School on Thursday, October 3.

Friday, October 4, 2024 MSU students from Elementary Education's Practicum II worked with Marshall County Schools' STEM grant to run science centers for fourth grade students from Calvert City and Sharpe Elementary schools.
MSU students taught lessons and managed hands-on experiments to help students learn about physics of forces and energy.

DEPARTMENT UPDATE
Three students from Marshall County High School who are interested in elementary education came to Alexander Hall today! There were able to tour the building, talk with faculty, and sit in on classes. They are pictured here creating a balloon tower in Dr. Pryor’s science practicum class! They said the visit helped them to feel more comfortable coming to campus next fall.

Healthy Horseplay
Monday, October 7
Dr. Vigil and HPE students hosted "Healthy Horseplay," a day of free play, movement, and reflection for kids ages 3-10.
School Psychology Open House
Wednesday, October 2
The School Psychology Program hosted an open for students to stop by and learn more about the program.
Dr. Sean Simons, program coordinator, discussed the program to those in attendance and gave students insight on what the profession looks like.
