Just like Philippians, there are only 5 chapters in the book of Thessalonians.
Thessalonians is another letter that Paul wrote to the churches! In each chapter, we learn different things that Paul was trying to share.
Watch each video and then have the kids read the scriptures in the Bible and talk about each part!

Give the kids paper and let them draw picutres or write letters of encouragement to each other. See how many letters they can write (try to get everyone covered) to each other before your 15 minute timer runs out. Then they can exchange letters and share encouragement with one another.
Have them get into groups and practice praying for each other .

Give the kids paper and let them write names of people they are excited to see, questions that they would like to ask them, and draw a picture of what they think it will be like.

Have the children sit in a circle on the floor.
Use an object to designate which kid has a turn to speak – like a ball.
Model the game by sitting in the circle with the children.
Have them complete this sentence and then pass the object to the child they were talking about — “You are really good at ________________ and I can imagine God using your to _____________.“
The child who receives the object will go next. Instruct them to not repeat until everyone has had a turn.
It creates a little surprise to see who they are talking about. You may need to redirect the comments if they become redundant or negative.
Example: “You are really good with babies and I can imagine God using you to be a good Mom.” Then hand the object to Sara.
Example: “You are really good at talking and I can imagine God using you to be a teacher.

- Come together and sit in a circle to talk about what they learned today. Ask them the same questions that you asked at the beginning of the day. How are their answers different now that they know more? Talk about what they can go home and tell their family. This is also a time they can update their journals (big kids only) or color the pictures (littles).
- Ask if anyone has a prayer request/praise report. Pray over requests.
- Worship time - Have the kids go find a spot to themselves and have some time with God (play the song below for around 3/5 minutes).

- Have them gather around the table and draw a picture or write a letter to their families about what they learned today.
- Play a game of some sort. (If you have the hula hoops, have them join hands in a circle and pass the hula hoop around the circle without breaking their hands)
