Cotton Ball Nose: (Cotton Balls, Vaseline, Plates)
Put Vaseline on each player’s nose. Each player has to transfer cotton balls from one plate to another without using his/her hands.
Cotton Ball Transfer: (Two Bowls, Cotton Balls, Spoons, Blindfold)
Have them sit down and blindfold him/her. Give him/her two bowls and a plastic spoon. Fill one of the bowls with cotton balls and put it on their lap. Have them hold the other bowl on his/her head. On go, have them try to spoon cotton balls from the bowl on his/her lap into the bowl on his/her head. The most cotton balls in the second bowl after a minute wins!
Defy Gravity: (Balloons)
Give each player two balloons. Have them try to keep both balloons in the air for 1 minute. To make this even more difficult, have them use only one hand to keep the balloons in the air.
Elephant March: (Bottles of Water, Pantyhose, Tennis Balls)
Line up a bottles of water in a line. Put a baseball or tennis ball inside of a pair of pantyhose and have the player put the top of the pantyhose over his/her head. he player has one minute to swing the pantyhose (containing the ball) and knock over each of the water bottles.
Feather Breath: (Feathers, Buckets)
Give each player a feather and have them blow it across the room into a bucket. The feather must be kept in the air at all times and no body parts may be used to help the feather. An easier version of this is to just keep the feather in the air for 1 minute without trying to move it across the room.
Save the Joker: (Deck of Cards, Glass Container)
Place a deck of cards (with the Joker on the bottom) on top of a glass container. When the minute starts, have the player gently blow the cards off of the bottle until he/she gets to the Joker. The player that blows all of the cards off of the bottle except for the Joker in under a minute wins!
Spoon Relay Race Game: (Plastic Spoons, Small objects such as Marshmallows or Cotton Balls)
This game requires players to race against each other in teams to see which team can complete the course first.
Divide all players into two teams.Give each team a plastic spoon and a marshmallow (or another small object). Have the teams line up in a line. The first player in line for each team takes the spoon and marshmallow. They hold the spoon in front of them with the object on the spoon. The two players that are first in line for each team then race to a designated spot twenty feet away and then back to the starting line and their team. They then hand off the spoon and object to the next player in line. Each player takes a turn and the first team to complete the relay wins!
If the object is dropped from the spoon then the player picks up the object, runs back to the starting line and begins again.
After one or two rounds playing the basic way (above) add some variation and have the kids complete the course while:
Walking backward
Skipping
Turning in circles
Hopping on one foot
or any other crazy way that will make the game more difficult and challenging each time.
