Grasshopper Tutorials
grasshopper basics:
This first tutorial was pretty challenging in figuring all the components out, but it was helpful to try out the basics.
grasshopper cylinder:
It was interesting to see the different ways to make the cylinders, and I think I got the hang of it.
Grasshopper Torus:
This was a simple tutorial for me to build on what I've been learning. I am curious to see what I can use this for in 3d printing.
Grasshopper Tessellations
The tesselations was an interesting tutorial to do. I like how it looks and am wondering how to apply it to 3d printing designs.
Grasshopper Table
The table tutorial was more confusing with all the different components. I think it's a bit hard to keep track of and understand what does what so the grouping might be helpful to me for bigger projects.
Voronoi
I thought this tutorial was interesting and I wonder what other designs I could make with it.
Graph
I thought this tutorial was really cool. I was able to play around to make a lot of really interesting shapes, but I would like to understand the math part more and what each slider actually does.
Curves and Surfaces
I thought this one was harder to understand what the components were actually doing, but I think the last design it made (top left) was cool.
2d illusion pattern
This was a really cool tutorial, and I had fun playing with the sliders to make these shapes.
Sphere Voronoi
I thought this tutorial was interesting but confusing. The new textures were really cool, although I had trouble with the "mesh colours" component and don't understand why it doesn't fully work.
Surface Morph
This tutorial was a lot harder to understand and it seems like the sliders didn't change much of the design. I still have trouble understanding what brep means and all of the components kind of confused me.
Voronoi Cell
This one was weird but fun. I definitely understood it a bit more than the previous tutorials but I'm still confused about how the components work. I liked seeing what each of the sliders did and also changing the points to get a different shape.
