i am going to need to figure out a solution for hwo to best deal with all the support beams witch may be just printing it out on the ultimaker and no the prusa.
here is my desighn on rhino
in grren is qa shaope i made using weaver birds add ons and number slider to create a shape i was happy with. with this sahape i added it to the ball we made during the tutorial but i edited the ball to ahve alot less holes and i edited it to be a little les spherical and mroe odd shaped.
I then put my weaverbirds shaope inside of the ball
here is my grasshoper of everything my structure is. it took me a while of adding and taking away ads weel as adjusting number slider to get a shape i was proud of.
this is when i turned by strucure into a sold shape to rpint. i needed to emve all of the black and the box suround iny sophere and internla shape until oit was just the parts i liked.

ELK Basics
we talked oin class about the photo.
this tutorial was intreaging for me becasue i hadt used grasshoper and a external add on like elk before. I choose a place that only had land but i made the mistake of adding all of the components for water ways and rivers. grasshoper highlighted and highlighted the compenents i did and did not need for the final product. my computer was not able to render the final product on rhinos end. Very fun and interesting tutorial.

This was a pretty simple design and was fairly quick but it helped me understand more of the basics of rhino. this also gave me a better feal for placing points and how it reflects from grasshopper to rhino.
This tutorial help me graso the consepts of editing simple shapes such ads a rrectangle. we added sapects like populate 2d and violioini. we learned what these inouits were and were visually able to see how they effected a rectangle
this tutoraal was of a more abstartc shape tjhat was very comtomizable through number slider. the photo i have above and below are the same ewxpat that i changed number via a number silder creating complelty different shapes. we also learne dpolo array and melastrom.
this was one of the first tutorials. in this tutorial we made basic shapes like recatangkles cielces and shapes liek those. we would then practice editing them and moving the along the x y z plan in differnet dirrections.
in this ututouial we had a line inwitch we poloared arrayed. and by usiong a numebr lsider could further edit our deisghns. beiging toteahc is the effective ness of new inputs.

here mer and my team cam eup wiht 15 iunique and creative for maining sticking to the format of the wooden sticks and rubber bands. we eventuall cut a hoel in the middle of our wood plank witch lead to some new options of deisgn and form.
my team cam eup with three different disgns and mind is the one with one sentral wooden spike with four rubber bands suroudning it. we thought that the slight offness of the wooden pole lean slghitly to the side was apelaing to us and we devcided to use it as one of the three projects.
i designed the project on rhino while starting with a box to respresent the bottom and the wooden floor. i thin made points to represent th erubber band and then turned them into a actuall structure usiong various comnads until one eventually workled.
this is anuther one of the tutorials involing makeing and edititng of cylinder. i made i belave 4 distink cylinders in thei tutoriual and thjrouigh numerous inputs like move and pipe and alot of numebr lsider we could see hwo costomizable these shapes were.
on this project i started by following the cylinder tutorial and making a tutuorial on grasshoper and using n umber slider to edit to my liking. i thyen cam across the idea of a rocket ship were i started adding more and moe bits and peaces to the cylinder. i used the pipe imput in grasshoper for the bottom of my cylinder to give it the extended and clylindered pipe looking shape. this was a very fun project and i enjoyed the creative freedome.
in this tutorial i was traksed with making my own shaoe shape and i made a box with vorinia and created alot of caos around it. this was my version of my own shape from curves and surfaces .
in this tutorial i created three diferent shapes using this new input. it was veyr fun makeing all these differnt shapes anbd strctution and i learned about the different possibuiulities.
this tutorial was a good chlange for me and i enjoyed the procces of making a extremly complex shape. I liked the complexity and how it felt like i was just mkaing a shape cooler and coller as the steps went on.
this tutorial stumped me for a long time. i wanst able to figure out what my mistake was in making the shape becasue i followed the tutorial very closly but i did result in mkaing a interesting shape that i am still proud of. i like the multi layer effects of a shpe inside anouther.
this tutorial was also alot of fun. even thought it was more on the simple side i enjoyed m,aking a shape that was vwery ititbale and alowed me to costomize it furthur with numer slider and such.
