After doing my mood board and looking for inspiration  I decided I want to do a vase type thing cut in half, and then put a lightbulb in it and diffuse the lightbulb

probaly using sandstone

I started by experimenting with different weaverbird shapes and commands

I put it into shapeways and  realized that  some of the edges were too thin/thick
