These were our initial designs and ideas.
We wanted to create a rocket with attachable fins and an overhang, so with the first design we tested out the attachments.

This was our first model being printed.

Our second design included an overhang on the back of the rocket. Our second design settings were different because we added supports and we changed the material from Blue PLA in the first print to Black Tough PLA and Natural PVA.
Settings: Black Tough PLA AA 0.4, Natural PVA BB 0.4, Supports On: Tree, 2
This is our final design in the overhang water dissolver machine.
Images of our Final Printed Design. The difference between the first and second designs were that we made the holes to put the wings in bigger so that they could fit more easily. This part was successful. We also tried to add in an overhand for a 3rd wing that was not press-fitted, but as shown in the picture, this was unsuccessful.
We had trouble creating the overhang and also fitting attachments. Our successes were the overall shape and size of the rocket ship matching what we wanted, and also we were able to successfully include a circular window.
