Grasshopper Basics was a good introduction to some basic tools of grasshopper. I will have to get used to it. I ejoyed the tutorial and I think I understood most everything
I struggled with the Torus tutorial and mostly only succeded in making a sphere.
*I did both the Cylinder, Tessellations, and Torus tutorials but I have recently figured out that when saving the Rhino you have to save your grasshopper files separately or else they will just delete. From now on I will save my things correctly.
I thought the Table tutorial was very cool. It was pretty clear and I was able to follow it, though I almost crashed Rhino.
This is a photo of my grasshopper code for my tables.
Graph Mapper and Voronoi Tutorials
I enjoyed the voroni tutorial and found it very clear and easy to complete. I kinda want to print this just to have because it is cool
The graph mapper function is really cool but I will definitely need more time and playing around with it to understand it better. I wonder how situational it is?
These two photos were my attempt to make the Voronoi component work for a circle which is hard because the voronoi component will only work for rectangles. On this one I tried to make the spiral of the maelstrom component to work for voronois in a circle.
Illusion Tutorial
The sphere voroni component is definitely one of my favorite components so far. I tried to replicate it with a box but I struggled because many of the voroni components will only work for very specific shapes.
This is a photo of my illusion graph, I followed the tutorial and then messed around with it, This is a photo of my beltizer spin. I enjoyed the tutorial and found it easy to follow.
Maelstrom Tutorial
I was pretty confused during the curves and surfaces tutorial, This is one that I may have to ask about. I think it looks cool though.
Curves and Surfaces Tutorial
I enjoyed the Voronoi cell tutorial and I was finally able to download weaver bird. I will definetly need a little more practice with all of the mesh components to feel fully comfortable.

3D Shapeways Project
What is the idea for this project?
The idea for my project is to create a cool necklace made out of metal
How do you want people to react to your piece?
I want people to want to look closer at it to admire the design and intricities
What inspires your piece?
I am inspired by various grasshopper plug-ins including Lunch box and nautalus shell that I think will help me to create cool designs.
Is it a wearable piece?
Yes it will be a necklace. I will have to play around with how much material I have. It may have to be just a necklace charm or I could make the whole thing out of steel.
Does it have functionality?
It will look cool.
