What was the idea for this project?

My idea for this project was to make a ring. I wanted it to look a bit more interesting than just a band, so using voronoi I envision a sort of webbing as the design for the ring.

What was the biggest challenge?

My biggest challenge was getting everything to load. Because the shape is so complex and its a mesh its taking really long time to render. Even increasing the points for voronoi by 1 takes an extremely long time to load, which makes it realy hard to see the full picture and make it right.

How did you incorporate grasshopper?

I incorporated grasshopper to build most my ring. I first set my geometry to a cylinder and then using voronoi and multipipe with some other commands created an encasing the cylinder with a mesh. Then I cut it down using tools on rhino, but everything was built with grasshopper.
