What is robotics club currently up to?
M: "This year the club is doing a series of competitions, much like a track and field day, where groups of two to three will team up to build a robot. Every group’s robots will go through the same trials that will test their agility, strength, and overall innovation. The skills of the robot drivers will also be put to the test by being timed while manually controlling the robot. Due to COVID, this year’s competition will be flexed compared to the norm where Seneca Valley High School hosted the entire land, sea, and air competition."
What would make others want to join robotics club?
M: "One thing I found that people fret on when not joining the club is them worrying if they can make the cut, or feeling that they won’t be useful to the team. So one thing I would recommend to anyone new is that you don’t have to worry about joining this club. The club is meant to have fun and to be creative and innovative with your designs. It is a great way to meet new friends and share your ideas."
