Quiz Bowl is a club in which individuals compete at practice by answering questions consisting mainly of random trivia facts to gain a spot on the roster. The top five scoring individuals make it onto the varsity team and the five runners-up make it on the junior varsity team.
Each team competes in several academic tournaments against teams from other schools in a system established by National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT). The league Armstrong competes in is based in Indiana County.
