Culture Club Comes to AHS

Mr. Cloak has wanted to have students at Armstrong Jr./Sr. High School be able to experience the surrounding area's culture for some time, and now he has given them the chance by forming the Culture Club. Every junior and senior at AHS is part of it and can attend its events. It has already gone on a trip into Pittsburgh to the Benedum to watch a performance of “Hamilton” on September 24th.
The trip consisted of students, teachers, and school staff. Before the show they went to Cafe Milano, a pizza place in Pittsburgh for dinner and enjoyed the food. It cost the students $125 to attend that trip with dinner and tickets included. The club has arranged a second trip on December 19th to return to the Benedum to watch “The Nutcracker,” with dinner at a Mediterranean restaurant beforehand.
The dinner will include an option of chicken kabob, lamb kabob, and falafel as the entree, several appetizers, and baklava for dessert. This trip costs $100 to attend. Go to Mr. Cloak’s room, C117 if interested.
