Boys and Girls Golf Working Hard Throughout the Season

Both Armstrong Boys and Girls Golf are hard at work throughout their season, making their school proud. According to Autumn Tutak, the best thing a player in the golf world can do to improve his or her score is to “work hard.” She also stated to not get stressed out about a bad score.
Although the season hasn’t gone “like we’ve wanted it to go,” according to Maddox Shaffer, he has had some fond memories from playing the sport. The rides down in the ASD van (called the “Wagon”), s well as the memories going to some of the other golf courses, have been his favorite.
Maddox’s advice to any new players to the sport is to “Practice.” “Get out and practice as much as you can,” echoing Autumn's aforementioned advice of “work hard.”
The teams are predominantly Seniors this year, with the Boys' team about half-and-half seniors and non-seniors, and the majority of the Girls team being seniors according to Maddox and Autumn.
