What does book club do? 

A: "Read and discuss books... based on what's current and on what people like. We give about a month to read and analyze the book and then we will meet to discuss and choose a new book."

What would others want to join book club?

A: "Our club is a lot of noncommittal fun! We like to pick books that also have movies that correspond - so we have a movie day!
