Wazers Scripting Together - Colombia and Ecuador

Shout-out to our Colombian community for helping the local community in Ecuador update their license plates with the help of an efficient script to make changes for their map.

Meet a Top Contributor - Francesco from Italy

Francesco, AKA bedo2991 started editing the map in 2012, back when Waze was a crowdsourced GPS service. Remember the old operating system, Symbian? Francesco is one of the veterans to edit the map on his Symbian operated phone! Francesco now acts as a Global Champ, Localizer and Beta Tester. He originally created the Street Vector layer and has since prepared many scripts to save time for his fellow editors. Francesco's tip to new editors is to try to understand the logic behind editing rules, instead of memorizing them. He invites anyone who needs help writing scripts to approach him, and he'll also happily share his traveling tips to Italy and Germany! Francesco, we're happy to hear that Waze brought you happy memories! Thank you for all that you do :)
