5/5-5/9 Friday is Battle of the Classes
Spanish 1
All week- Work in groups to complete the AR verb conjugation and Spanish 1 Review packet. We will put answers on the board and practice pronunciation. Correct mistakes together.
Standards- Infer meaning of unfamiliar vocabulary using word families. Make comparisons between the native and target languages and cultures. Extend conversational skills by interacting with the language in culturally appropriate ways.
Spanish 2
All week- We will work on the Family and Possessive Adjective vocabulary (wordsearch, translating sentences, conjugation fill ins, etc.) and practice the pronunciation. We will begin to work on the Family Tree project.
Spanish 3 and 4-
All Week- Work to complete the tasks on the Super Mario Bros. Map. They must be completed in order. We will put the answers on the board to the sentences and pronouns tasks. Next week- Pronunciation paragraph practice.

Monday- Complete the passport page for Spain. Get Mexico´s famous artists Virtual Classroom. Click the links to view the most famous works from an array of Mexican artists.
Tuesday-Thursday- Take the virtual field trip to Mexico. Click the links to learn about Mexico´s history, landscapes, and culture. Discussion- Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera

Foreign Cultures- Theme- The Caribbean, Central and South America
Monday- Review for North America test with Blooket games. Take the North America test. DIscuss the significance of cinco de mayo.
Tuesday- Wednesday- Map of Central and South America. Fill in the countries. Complete the Central America and Caribbean countries slides. Review the vocabulary words and phrases. Identify where they are found in the slideshow and how they relate to each other. Play a review Blooket. Listen to a sample of the accents from Central and South Americans. Identify the South American countries on the map. Start the South America slideshow.
Thursday- Work through the South American slideshow. Peru- beauty standard compare to our beauty standards.
Friday- South American test review. Test Monday.
