Spanish 1
Monday- Time pixel image reveal. Warm up- quizizz- days, months and seasons.
Tuesday- Complete and turn in image reveal if not completed yesterday. Write class schedule sentences on El Horario using the Time Expressions and Practice Notes on GC. Go over the answers aloud.
Wednesday- Work on Calendar questions from GC.
Thursday- Get weather notes on GC. Use the dictionary to translate. Exit ticket- turn in the Google Slides Vocabulario del Clima activity.
Coming up- Take a tour of the News room on GC. Watch the Youtube videos and complete the EdPuzzles.
Standards-

Spanish 2
Monday- Practice pronunciation of first person irregulars. Work on the Verbos Regulares e Irregulares en el Presente on Wizer (Google Classroom).
Tuesday- Daily sentence. Work on the Verbos Regulares e Irregulares en el Presente on Wizer (Google Classroom).
Wednesday- Daily sentence. Choose between ser and estar using the notes and rationales for each verb using practice pages.
Thursday- Go over the sentence translations and determine the implication of each verb choice. Identify cultural needs.

Spanish 3 All week- Pronoun Placement and Sentence Diagramming
Monday- 3rd period- Daily sentence, 1-8 command sentences on handwritten page. Put the answers on the board.
Monday-Thursday- Complete the command sentences in the groups of sentences completed on the midterm and mock-midterm page. Put each set on the board for comprehension check.

Monday- Translate the sentences from Arco & Alamedas Cap 1. Put the 8 sentences on the board. Discuss sentence structure for commands v. giving advice and the cultural implications of the tones of each. Complete page 7 parte G together- switching each affirmative to a negative command.
Tuesday- negative command construction with page 8. Complete page 6 parte D. Review sentence structure for making rules and commands formations. Discuss direct commands v. passive construction
Wednesday-Thursday- Centers Activity- respond appropriately to the prompts on each advice card.

Thursday- Complete the Arabic influence comprehension questions.

Monday / Tuesday- EdPuzzles- Mayans and Aztecs videos. Watch Mayan math video. Look over Mayan alphabet- Mexico artifact. Finish Mexico information slides and Virtual field trip- Google Classroom.
Wednesday- Create sugar skulls and papel picado. Decorate the room.
Thursday- Day of the Dead. Watch clip of Coco. Identify symbolism. Get Person of Interest project to complete a virtual DDLM altar.
Friday- Discuss the importance of Hispanic Heritage Month and how it is celebrated. Work on altar.
