SPANISH 1

Monday- Work on La Fecha y El Tiempo packet pages. Discuss military time. Go over the answers in small groups and then aloud for pronunciation beads. 

Tuesday- Complete the Vamos a Practicar section of the Time Expression notes on GC. Go over the answers to the time expressions practice page for beads. 

Wednesday-Complete El Horario on GC. Turn it in when finished for a grade. 

Thursday- Complete the Time Pixel Image Reveal on GC. Due at the end of class. 

Friday-  Complete Tiempo y La Fecha on GC. Turn it in when completed. We will go over the answers when everyone has finished. Blooket and WordWall grammar games when finished. 

Standards- Infer meaning of unfamiliar vocabulary using word families. Make comparisons between the native and target languages and cultures. 

SPANISH 2

Monday- Preguntas Personales 2. Answer the questions in the first person. Identify sentence structure differences. 

Tuesday- Go over Part C from the Reflexive Packet. Add the preposition rule from the grammar wall to the interactive notebook´s grammar section. Color Code part C to identify the use of the new grammar construction. 

Wednesday- Friday- Work through the sentences in the Reflexive Packet. Identify the use of the two verb rule and pronoun placement. Add new vocabulary constructions to the Word Family/Grammar sections of the interactive notebook. 

Standards- Infer meaning of unfamiliar vocabulary. Extend reading comprehension and conversation through word families, circumlocution, sentence structure, parts of speech, and intended audience. 

SPANISH 3

Monday- Translate the animals vocabulary google slides. Add the translations to each slide. Play blooket to practice the animals vocabulary.

Tuesday- Complete the Wizer page to practice the new vocabulary. Circle the direct object pronouns that would be used in each sentence. Submit when completed. 

Wednesday- Warm-up- Quiz a partner with the vocabulary words. Practice pronunciation. Color the Animales coloring page based on the oral directions. Discuss animal sounds (onomatopoeias) differences between English and Spanish. 

Thursday-Warm-up- Quiz a partner with the vocabulary words. Practice pronunciation. Go to the zoo- Click on the videos in the Virtual Field Trip to learn more about the animals in the zoo. (Spanish audio).

Friday- Warm-up- Quiz a partner with the vocabulary words. Practice pronunciation. Play Guess the animal (con la foto magnificada) in Classroom- partner work. Play blooket to practice vocabulary. 

Standards- Extend conversational skills by interacting ith the language in culturally appropriate ways. 

SPANISH 4- Mandatos Negativos

Monday- Friday- Read the negatives notes provided. Identify the difference in construction between the negative and affirmative commands. Complete the negative columns of the practice pages.

Standards- Extend conversational skills through the use of word families and circumlocution. Follow multi-step instructions.

CULTURE

Monday- History of Spanish Slides 1-27. Answer the comprehension questions about the Arabic influence as we progress.

Tuesday-History of Spanish: The Arabic Influence slides 28-41. Answer the comprehension questions about the Arabic influence as we progress.

Wednesday-  Read the History of Spanish/Arabic Influence page and answer the comprehension questions. Watch the History of Spanish Youtube video.

Thursday- History of Spanish: The Arabic Influence slides 28-41. Answer the comprehension questions about the Arabic influence as we progress.

Friday- History of Spanish slides. Work on the Answer Scavenger Hunt.
