Spanish 1

Monday- Complete the Google image search slide and create a collage of pictures (no words) that show the meaning of each weather expression. Turn it in to GC when completed. Tour the newsroom.

Tuesday- Work on the google image search collage. Turn it in when completed. 

Wednesday- Use February 2020 calendar to answer dates, times and weather questions. Turn in at the end of the class period on Thursday.

Thursday- February 2020 calendar

Friday- Complete the warm up slides ¿Qué tiempo hace?  Practice vocabulary test- fill in the answers to the Vocabulario del Clima page. Complete the 2 Google Slides Drag and Drop activities. Turn them in on GC when completed.

Standards-

Infer meaning of unfamiliar vocabulary using word families. Make comparisons between the native and target languages and cultures. Extend conversational skills by interacting with the language in culturally appropriate ways. 

Spanish 2 Reflexives

Monday- Turn in the conjugate in reverse page and add the first person irregular box to interactive notebooks. Finish the notes. Complete Part D on page 11 of the reflexive packet.

Tuesday- Get Rutina Diaria google slides. Work through the activities to practice listening and reading comprehension. 

Wednesday- Finish the slides and turn them in to Classroom

Thursday- Friday- Work through the next two packet pages in the reflexive packet. Add new and unfamiliar vocabulary to the interactive notebook.

Monday- Tuesday Work on the Zoo Animal comprehension questions with a partner. Turn them in when complete.

Wednesday- Get All Things Preterit Notes and fill in the AR verb conjugation box. Practice with Conjugando el Pretérito. 

Thursday- Warm up- Play the Wordwall AR preterit balloon pop game to review. Identify differences between preterit and present tense. Add the boxes to the interactive notebooks. 

Friday- Add ER and IR verb conjugation endings. Practice using all 3 verb sets with Wordwall and blooket comprehension games.

Monday- Tuesday Finish the advice cards (6). Switch cards with the other team. Revise the answers of the first team to add direct and indirect object pronouns.

Monday- Watch Roseanne clip- Pitz Game. Pictures from Chichen Itza. Study the Mayan writing page and pass around the Mayan Calendar. Read the Mayan Ice Mummies article from NOVA.

Tuesday- EdPuzzle- Aztecs, Tenochtitlan C6S3. Discuss the episode. Start Cosmos Global. Watch In The Land of Maya and Inca. 

Wednesday-  Complete the movie and start NOVA 

Thursday- watch Inca- Secrets of the Lost Empires

Friday- Watch National Geographic- The Great Inca Rebellion. Fill in the Venn Diagram for the Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas.
