Spanish 1

Monday- Make up midterms

Tuesday- Get back midterms and go over the answers. Get the time packet. Read through the notes and vocabulary together and practice pronunciation.

Wednesday- Design clock to add to the time notes. Start working through the time packet. 

Thursday- Practice example times with the clock in pairs. Practice pronunciation. 

Friday- 

Spanish 2

Monday- Make up midterms

Tuesday-Wednesday- Work on preguntas personales 2. Turn in when completed. 

Thursday- Go over the midterm. Practice pronoun placement and verb conjugations with page 13 of the reflexive packet. 

Friday- Finish the bottom of page 13 in pairs. Due Monday. 

Spanish 3

Monday- Make up midterms

Tuesday- Get midterms back and go over the answers together. Warm-up- Sort foods in the food pyramid. Practice sorting with typical breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, dessert, and drink. 

Wednesday- Select a Spanish speaking country and research an authentic dish. Sign up for a food day. Homework- dietary calendar project. Due next Wednesday. Practice ordering food with partners. 

Thursday- Warm up- writing prompt "This or That" to be turned in at the end of the period. Practice ordering food from the restaurant. Use the appropriate vocabulary. 

Friday- Practice ordering food from the restaurant. Use the appropriate vocabulary. Work on authentic dish research.

Spanish 4

Monday- Make up midterms

Tuesday- Go over midterm. Fix the mistakes. 

Wednesday-Friday-Commands dance- Follow the written instructions to perform each 8 count.

Hispanic Civ

Tuesday- What is Culture? Class Discussion. Set up Google Classroom. Use the Culture Iceberg as a reference.  Take a culture pretest quiz on GC and turn it in. Discuss answers in group conversation. 

Wednesday- Dissect the answers based on the value point system on https://cultureplusconsulting.com/2015/06/23/nine-cultural-value-differences-you-need-to-know/ to determine where we fall on the scale. 

Thursday- Look at the Street Food image on GC and react. Discuss Us v. Them mentality. Original prompt- What happens when tradition conflicts with personal health. 

Friday-History of Spanish Slides 1-27 and The Arabic Influence slides 28-41. Answer the comprehension questions about the Arabic influence as we progress.
