Spanish 1-

Monday- Go over Basic Conversation starters and Key Phrases notes on GC. Practice pronunciation with pronunciation stars. 

Tuesday- Review the commonly used phrases in a Spanish class and practice the pronunciation. Watch the Señor Jordan videos and complete the comprehension questions. Complete the Drag and Drop activity on GC. 

Wednesday- Complete the Saludos y Despedidos conversation practice on GC using the new vocabulary. Practice pronunciation.

Thursday- Add definition of cognate to the interactive notebook. Read through the list of cognates on the board. Determine word families. Work through the Cognate virtual classroom and discuss word families. Watch the Señor Jordan videos and complete the comprehension questions. Complete the Drag and Drop activity on GC. 

Friday- Live Quizizz to practice greetings and farewells.

Upcoming: Complete the colors and color by number page. Google Slides Drag and Drop activity. Practice pronunciation using the pronunciation stars in our interactive notebook. 

Standards

Spanish 2- All week- We will be practicing using the interactive notebook guides to conjugate all 3 types of verbs in the present tense, incorporating new grammar (personal a, two verb rule)

Monday- Work in pairs to complete the back of 3-4 comprehensive review page. Put answers on the board for beads. 

Tuesday- Finish putting the answers on the board to review spelling and practice dictionary use. 

Wednesday- Friday- Use the dictionary to translate the sentences and use the conjugation boxes in the interactive notebook to determine the correct verb ending through the Capitulo 7 (7.3 and 7.5) page. We will go over these answers on the board and aloud

Spanish 3-All Week- Read Pobre Ana in groups. Complete the comprehension paragraphs and VennDiagram.

Tuesday- Get the Commands notes. 

Wednesday- Complete the studyspanish.com quiz 

Thursday- Work to Move Señora through the virtual town on GC. Wizer page. Choose Partners and walk the obstacle course.

Friday- Guide partners through the obstacle courses.

Spanish 4- 

Read Pobre Ana. Identify new phrases and vocabulary, word families.

Culture- Indigenous Tribes

Monday- Watch National Geographic- The Great Inca Rebellion. Fill in the Venn Diagram for the Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas. 

Tuesday- Read Lost City and write a synopsis. Finish and turn in Venn Diagram of the 3 tribes. Complete the 3 Tribes Wizer page. 

Wednesday- Complete Immigration WebQuest. Get Friday's debate rules. 

Thursday- Watch The Other Side of the Immigration Debate

Friday- Take the Citizenship test. We will go over the results next week. 

Coming up: Immigration debate.
