An EXAMPLE of why font choice is important!
Sketchbook Question:
Looking at the following image, which would you choose as the advertising font for a waterbottle company? What does your chosen font say about the product? Why?

Typography Vocabulary:
Typography (aka fonts) - the style and appearance of fonts
Serif font - a slight projection finishing off a stroke of a letter in certain typefaces
Sans Serif font - a style of type without serifs
Display font - a creative or fanciful typface
Hierarcy - a system or organization in which words/groupings are ranked one above the other according to importance
Leading - the amount of blank space between lines of print
Tracking - a consistent space between letters
Kerning - adjust the spacing between (letters or characters) in font
