Mini Movie Animation
For the FINAL project this trimester- you will be creating your own MiniMovie using Photopea animations!
Requirements:
2 initial ideas & character sketches
Student feedback from 3+ students for which ideas is the strongest
Final Cartoon: 100+ frames (10+ seconds) of story, must have intro credits (title) and end credits ("created by:...")
Steps:
Step 1. Brainstorm 2 different storylines (school appropriate)
Step 2. For EACH storyline, sketch out a 4-6 frames of the idea in your sketchbook; dimensions 2x3 inches
Step 3. Bring your ideas to 4 or more fellow students and get feedback about which idea is the strongest (the better the storyline, the better the movie)
Step 4. Bring your ideas to Mrs. Yelenick for a brainstorm discussion and sign off.
Step 5. Begin your animation in Photopea
- Dimensions: 7 in wide x 5 in tall
- Length: 100+ frames
- Be sure to include:
Intro credits for the title & creator (you!)
Full cartoon story
End credits
Step 6. Review your cartoon and check for any issues
Step 7. Turn in your cartoon to Google Classroom Assignment - this is DUE by Thursday, May, 25th! (End of trimester)
