Spot the Difference
Sketchbook PROMPT:
What are 3 careers where a person would need to be able use editing software on real-life images?
Here are some examples of photo editing before/after images. What differences do you notice?
Review- Use the following links to remind yourself how to use the Clone Stamp and Spot Healing tools in your editing software.
* NOTE: Spot Healing is NOT 100% perfect (especially with large areas)*
Assignment:
Using a photo you have taken, create a Spot the Difference game with 10 differences. The busier the photo, the harder your game will be. You have until the END OF NEXT CLASS to turn in the Original Image, Edited Image, & Answers.
Step 1: Upload your image onto your computer (via USB or email).
Step 2: Import your image into the photo editing software (Photoshop or Photopea) & title it:
LastName_SpotTheDifferenceEdit -->Yelenick_SpotTheDifferenceEdit
Step 3: Using your PS tools, make 10 edits to your image that change it slightly... BUT I need to be able to find the differnces!
*Keep in mind, these changes should be subtle, but find-able.**
Step 4: Once finished, save your file as a JPEG, entitled:
LastName_SpotTheDifferenceEdit -->Yelenick_SpotTheDifferenceEdit
Step 5: Reopen your edited version and (using the paint brush or pencil tool) circle the answers to your game. This image should be titled:
LastName_SpotTheDifferenceAnswers --> Yelenick_SpotTheDifferenceAnswers
(To rename a file, double click the canvas/doc tab)
Step 6: Upload your Original Image AND Edited Image AND Answers Image (have all changes circled) to Google Classroom
Step 7: Upload your Original and Edit to your website to the page called, "Spot the Difference".
Step 8: Review the rubric below to make sure you know you'll get a good grade.
Step 9: When you are done, you may work on something from the Spare Time Sheet.
