Value: What is your definition?
ASSIGNMENT
Step 1: Think about value. Where can we see it in this school?
FIELD TRIP!
In your sketchbook, come up with 3 IDEAS of interesting value changes in the school.
Step 2: Choose a partner to help you get your photos and to give you good feedback about the photos you take.
Each student MUST have their own set of 3 value photos.
NO FILTERS. We will be post-editing these in PhotoShop.
Step 3: Go get your photos!
Step 4: Come back to class and upload your images onto your computer.
Step 5: Pull your image into PhotoShop (do not create a new canvas) and Edit it to make it black and white:
IMAGE > Adjustments... > Black&White > OK
IMAGE > Adjustments... > Brightness/Contrast... > Adjust as Needed > OK
Save as: LASTNAME_VALUE#.jpeg (JPEG format) in your H:// drive (number)
Step 6: Do the same edit to your second and third image.
Step 7: Upload ALL 3 images onto your website on a new page called: Value
Step 8:Upload onto Classroom
