Mindfulness/Meditation

No problem can be solved unless we are aware of it.  Being mindful means you are aware, not just that you have knowledge, but you are attuned to things inside and outside of yourself. When we are aware we can make changes and this can gives us back a sense of inner power.  Not a need to control, but a simple feeling that we can change our thinking and change our lives.

Jon Kabat-Zinn defined mindfulness as: “paying attention in a particular way; On purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally.”

There are many ways to be mindful and often, being mindful is a meditation in and of itself.  On this page, you will be given the opportunity to try different ways of paying attention and practicing non-judgment.  Enjoy!
