After Graduation

As graduation approaches there are many aspects of your career that start coming more into focus. You begin to think more about where you want to live, what kind of organization you want to work for, what salary you desire, etc. This section will give you some more information about different aspects of your career that you may not have learned much about in your program or even in your life experience.

Interviewing

It doesn't matter how many interviews you have been on, each one brings it's own anxieties.  The main thing to remember here is to remain calm and be yourself.  There are great resources here at Husson to help you master the art of interviewing, whether it be one on one, group, or even day long combinations.  Be sure to check in with Career Services in Peabody 201.  They can help set up mock interviews to help you feel more confident in your abilities to interview.

Salary Negotiations

Money is always stressful.  Salary negotiating is not something that is often taught to the up and coming workforce.  Many people don't even think about negotiating for better salary when they are looking for their first job.  This is a priceless skill that can really help you get the pay that you deserve for the job.
