Animations
The 10 points for the animations assignment are acquired by the following criteria:
Quality and/or Complexity of Production (1, 2 or 3 points)
-if the animation simply uses one of the templates and the student only had to enter text, it is less complex (from a production standpoint) than an animation that involved custom movements, scenes, props, etc. The clarity of audio (accurate pronunciation of words) is evaluated here.
Quality and/or Complexity of Content (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 points)
-an animation that simply stating a law, definition, or vocabulary word should earn fewer points than one that explains, demonstrates, or gives examples.
Evaluator 1: Educational Effectiveness of Video (1, 2, or 3 points)
-these (up to) 4 points are fairly subjective, and should be used to credit the overall effectiveness of the animation. Things like well-applied humor, great real-world examples, and/or supplementary information should get more points than the blah straight forward.
