Coupla Things v26 (3/22/15)

Dear Parents,

In this issue:

1. Conference sign-ups: they are optional, but sign up here if you (and your kid) would like to meet.

2. Science Fair Status Sheet: please take a few minutes tonight and take a look at your kids sheet (list)

3. Scooter chaperone: I'm looking for a parent to come on a scooter trip with the GPS class on 3/27 12:30 to 3:30

4. Branches of government teaching & quiz: the kids will be teaching each other and taking a class-made quiz

5. Author study projects: each group should be mostly done by now and will be presenting their project on Thursday

6. Vocabulary routine: kids add words to their lists Mon & Tues, and learn 4 on Wed & Thurs. Due Fridays.

7. 49er Stadium form: these were handed out Friday and should come back signed tomorrow (check this list)

8. Student logo ideas: in the theme of "student identity", I'm asking kids to come up with their personal logo

9. Things added to grade book this week: 4 vocabulary analogies, electricity worksheet & test, letter, caps packet.

June 3 to 5: Rafting the South Fork American River

June 19: Staff work day
