Hello Room 25 Parents,

I've just got some classroom praises to convey and the calendar to post, so this issue of the newsletter is very short.

Last week there were two or three times when I noticed that the class is really working hard and doing well. The assignments that I've scored lately have had clusters way at the top end of the points scale and almost everyone showing clearly that they understand the material and are learning very well. Examples of this are the Washington-Hamilton-Jefferson summary survey, the vocabulary quiz, and two science section reading reviews. In addition, the kids have created good slides about their preferred SF destinations, biography one-pagers, and teaching each other about commonly confused English words.
