Control Systems

Overview: The nervous and endocrine systems control body functions and behavior. The complexity of these systems and their interrelationships is impressive, yet their basic processes are simple. We will study the brain and spinal cord, neurons and neurotransmitters, senses and reflexes, as well as the glands and hormones of the endocrine system. Although we barely scratch the surface of how these systems do their jobs, we explore the wide variety of functions that the control systems have.
