A "Screen Shot" is simply a way to capture all or part of what your device is displaying. For example, below is a screen shot of me editing this very web page:
Screen shots or screen capturing is a useful way to share whatever it is you are doing on your device. Some examples of when screen shots are useful:
To document "how to" do a specific task on a computer or device
Having students capture piece of a web page to share with your or their peers
Having students capture their score on an online quiz or survey (rather than printing a hard copy)
