PT Conf Sign Up

Allow your parents to sign up for conferences online. Here is how to do it.

  1. Open the appropriate document.

    1. For a single night of parent-teacher conferences, use this document.

    2. For registration conferences that cover 2 separate nights, use this document.

  2. Under the File menu "Make a copy..."

  1. Rename the copy to something meaningful to you (ie. Brockman PT Conferences 10-3-17)

  1. To allow parents to sign up, you must change the "Share" settings so that parents can edit it.

    1. Click the blue "Share" button at the top-right.

      1. Click the "Advanced" Link

      2. Under "Who has access" heading, click the "Change" link to the right.

      1. Set the document to "Public on the Web"

      2. Set "Access" to "Can Edit" and "Save"

      1. Click the "Done" Button.

  1. Be sure to alter the document to show correct information for you. (Your name, room, and the correct date)

    1. Copy the URL, and paste it into an email for parents using TeacherVUE.
