-methylated cotton balls with different types of salts

was a nice colorway produced by different salts, unfortunately a plastic beaker was set on fire today, so something to keep an eye on in the future, recommend using glass beakers instead.

-hexane and methylated spirits filled balloons

I would count this experiment as a fail, as most of the balloons were spilling methylated spirits all over the concrete.  Although the hexane, is good to explode, we only did 1ml of it in a balloon. I would keep a look out for over inflated balloons filled with methylated spirits, as rowan accidentally exploded one all over his face and had to use the eye wash station.

• physics related rollercoaster marble

it was a very successful and it made the 20cm jump into the ice cream container, this was a competition and I was against hector. down below attached is the video showing that it was successful. the requirements were to 1. have to have a drop, 2. have to have a loop, 3. have to make it into the ice cream box.
