 method: 

when fire comes in contact with different types of salt it turns a certain color based on the salt used. using a cotain ball limits the amount of salt used.  this is done by using methylated spirits  

Experimented with salts, methylated spirits, cotton, and fire 

experiment success: good (minus burning a plastic measuring cup)

We (Luiza & Ellakai) worked on calibrating the solar death ray draft. We also did and experiment  about how thermal energy expands and travels. + sang Frozen and the electromagnetic radiation song:D

18-19° difference between center and rim. center is flat and level?

material to use for upcoming drafts (shiny magnet,  mirror,  mosaic tiles, clay, potentially metal? thin sheets of tin, plaster of Paris) could potentially add support frames to the back.  

guy in in the test video used tiny mirrors (pattern of a crocodile), not level.
